Hi,
How are you?
Oh that’s nice…real nice.
How was your Christmas?
Awesome.
Well listen. I actually asked you here for a specific reason.
We’ll get to the details of your holiday later but first, I have an urgent need that surpasses the 10 steps to my bathroom for satisfaction.
As you may know I’m doing my first official wedding photoshoot on the 8th. I’m so excited.
So I have been composing a list of “must have shots” for the bride so she knows what to expect.
Having been married myself (just one time…I don’t intend to have any other husband’s unless this one decides to die tragically during a major jump kick during one of his shows…so not very likey) I know there are shots I wish I had thought of or had the creativity to think of, especially after seeing so many friends get married.
So what shots were your favorite, or do you wish you had in your album from your wedding day?
Obviously if you haven’t been married this question means nothing to do, so what do you imagine as some of your “must haves” for your wedding day when it comes?
I can use all the help I can get.
I will show you my Christmas presents from my hot hubby aforementioned above which relates very much to my photographic career.
I’m a happy lady.
My whole family is in New England right now oogling and awegling over my sweet baby Nephew. I’m extremely jelous. Bahumbug. Is it too late to be like Scrooge if I had a great Christmas?
I’m not a happy lady.
Hope you had a great day celebrating Jesus.

I wish our pictures were more fun. So many posed family shots! And TERRIBLE lighting. You couldn’t even tell where Brian’s suit stopped and the background started sometimes.
I love seeing shots of people jumping for joy. And more zoomed in shots as well for an artsy feel.

NONE of my faves from our wedding (2+ decades ago) were taken by the hired, horrible, pose-this-way photog, but by a best friend who caught intimate moments – my pre-wedding prep w/the girls, my hubby waiting (anxiously?!), just-married moments when we’re dancing & looking into each other’s eyes like there’s no one else there – you know, the good stuff!
Also have faves of other people’s weddings – like Scott’s cousin’s new hubby copping a feel of her cute butt when they were walking away from their reception
Priceless!

Hi love!
I am sure you will do fine! Just snap away throughout the wedding. I especially like to get shots that no one is aware that I am even taking their picture. Those are great. After the ‘formal’ photos, try to get some of those ‘only for him/her’ looks that they give each other. Enjoy and don’t forget to breath. LOL
