Once upon a time there was a girl (woman, lady, young female, ok me) who was on her way home from a long week of work. She was every so excited to be going home and begin what would lead to two days off of work. On her way home from the little piece of heaven (coffee land) she decided to call her excessively pregnant sister who was due any day with the first nephew of the family. That’s beside the point.
So whilst this ladygirl was talking to her sweet prego sister she was overjoyed to see that on the side of the road, in a rather shady neighborhood, there were lots of wild sunflowers.
Well what was this new renter of a sweet apartment with no decorations of her own to do? She quickly pulled to the side of the road and reversed. Then there was a large “CRASH!” The ladygirlwoman issued a few profanities….not very ladylike I know. She pulled forward to hear a louder “Kabosh!” (that’s the only sound I can think of ok, don’t judge me…let the story roll on) So this lass with the potty mouth hung up on her ever so pregnant sister, got out to note the slain wheel of rubber and uttered a few more words that Jesus in His grace would still shake his head at.
Then a sweet Samaritan stopped by…a very fancy, Mercedes driving, track suit wearing, bling sporting, K-swiss rocking, brotha. He changed the destraught woman’s tire in less than 5 minutes and revealed to her that he was a firefighter in her district. His name was Saint Patrick. Ok well just Patrick..but she knighted him after his courageous act.
He also gave her suggestions as to where to go to have her little donut removed and replaced with a new tire.
She went to Arandas. It seemed a foreign land with thousands of rims behind windows, enormous fake palm trees that light up at night and a sign that was in the form of flames. They saved her life that day by getting her a new cheap tire. They ruined her life the minute they told her that while popping her tire she also bent a supporting bar in a 90 degree angle and it would cost a total of $150 to fix. She still hasn’t removed the donut from the car.
BUT She had pretty flowers for 36 hours
Then the worms and bugs infesting them ate and destroyed them quickly and mercilessly.
Lesson learned
