Adventures With Jenny & Joel

I met Jenny & Joel when we first moved to Chicago. I’ve loved every minute we’ve spent with them…which sadly hasn’t been enough. But we are definitely going to make that change! Anywho–today I went out around the town with them and took some pictures while they kissed and laughed.

We had an incredibly great time filled with lots of adventures.

Funny how we only went like 7 blocks away from my place but there were some awesome locations I’d never discovered before. I LOVE THIS CITY.

Our adventures included running out of gas right as we pulled up to a station. Unfortunately the gas station was closed and we couldn’t moved. But to our great fortune two Polish girls drove up looking for gas as well and were willing to take Joel to a near by gas station and bring him back.

This was me taking a picture of the car just incase they decided to steal Joel and sell him into the sex trade. It didn’t really work out…the picture…not them selling him to the sex trade. I’m sure if they really were into that thing he’d sell very well…this is going the wrong way–back to the subject.

So while he was away saving the day…or being sold…we decided to tempt the fates and discover what was around us. Which was this sweet industrial looking awesomeness….of industry…

Joel came back, unscathed and only slightly frustrated which is commendable…I would be much more frustrated. We quickly got back on track and took tons of pics. I loved every minute with them! I had a chance to pic out my favorite pics from the shoot and was too excited to wait so I edited one real quick for you.

Not only are they incredibly adorable, I really felt like I didn’t have to do much work because they were so jolly and and love.

My sweet Hubs did me an enormous favor and created a little watermark as you can see above! I love it! I’m so excited to add it to my pics!

Alright, to beddy-by I go. I promise to write more about what has been new for us on Tuesday when I have a day off.

The Wilkin’s

I obviously haven’t written in a while but I wanted to give you a few pictures that I’ve finished so you can see what I’ve been up to…well partly.

My sweet hubby is gone for the weekend and gets back Monday. I found this out today..after I said goodbye to him…after he left to go be a rock star…he said he told me several times before and I don’t doubt it…but my sanity has been shaky lately so somehow it didn’t sink it…so now I’m all alone….and this means that you get lots from me. SO Strap in and bring on the rain, or reading, or writing? on to the pictures? yeah…I thought so…

What I’ve Been Up To Lately

Well I may not have been online for the past couple weeks but I promise I’ve been rather active. For starters we just moved this week and it’s been awesome. This place is so fantastic and once we get it really put together it’ll be up here for your viewing pleasure.

Last weekend we had a couple come visit us. Ok well they were in the city for their 5 year anniversary and blessed us with spending a little time off from their romantic weekend to hang out with us but we still felt like we were the whole reason they were here.

And as you may or may not be able to see we had the most delicious desert after an extraordinary Thai food experience which I did not photograph.

Yogen Fruz is like my most favorite thing that I was introduced to in Chile, where my husband is from. Right after we moved to the city we found some popular coupon companies: dailydeals.com and groupon.com. So like our third day here I found a coupon from Groupon that was pay $6 for $13 worth of delicious heaven. I saved it for a special moment which arrived this past weekend. So we took the sweet friends of ours to this place and got some treats. It was great, the service was awful which is really annoying because customer service is a big ol’ deal for me…but anyways it was quickly forgotten when I dug into my yogurt concoction of blackberries and rasberries. So much so that I even forgot to take a picture of the presentation so you could see how awesome it is.

There are still lots more pictures from their time with us but I haven’t had a chance to go through them all. I have had a really crazy week at work, we had some drama so I took on several extra hours and am a sleepy gal!

Oh in the mean time, tomorrow I’ll tell you about the awesome car accident (there were no other cars involved but my own) that I got in…really really exciting I promise.
