That is what you’re asking right?

Well I’m back friends so your worlds may continue to revolve.

So much has happened in the past couple weeks and I’ve written this blog a million times in my head. I’ve had so many thoughts and emotions that I haven’t been able to distinguish which are blog appropriate and which aren’t. This partly because I’m not sure if this is a deep blog about things I feel and believe in, or a funny blog about life stories and pictures.

So I’m still teetering on giving too much away, or not sharing enough. Rather complex, no?

But just to catch you up on what has been going on in the past couple weeks that has been keeping me away from you, here are the highlights.

1. I had training downtown for Starbucks.

2. The trainer called my DM and told her that I stood out among the other 15 or so managers there and asked where they found me.

3. My DM called me and asked me if I would be ready to have my own store in two weeks.

4. I said “NO!”

5. Then I thought that that might be the wrong answer so I said, “What do you think?”

6. She didn’t reply, just said that “we’d talk.”

7. That was last week, I still haven’t heard from her. But my manager talked to her last week and said that they were super impressed with me downtown and if I don’t get the store in two weeks, I’ll definitely be getting my store by March.

8. That is a big deal because I was originally told I’d have my own store by May, maaaaybe and that would be soon.

9. So less than 2 months from now is incredibly soon. I get sweaty thinking about it. And my heart starts fluttering. And I keep waiting for them to say, “Just kidding!”

10. My hubby was flown out for a show in MA and got back on Sunday. Then he left again Thursday and comes back tomorrow.

11. They had a show in a small town far away where they found out last week, the owners of the venue had no idea they were coming.

12. Apparently the booking agent has the same name as a fan who asked the guys to come back. The guys thought the fan was the booking agent and scheduled a show with her. The fan thought it was so nice of a band to work around her life so she could see them. The band though they had a legitimate show with the venue. The venue found out last week they were having a show that had been publicized for a while. The band had a good turn out. The venue laughed. The fan better know she matters.

13. We found a church.

14. It’s the first time EVER that my hubby and I have gone to a church and both felt like it’s where we belong. We were totally at peace.

15. I finally feel like my heart can begin to heal and I can begin to trust, unwind, be vulnerable and grow. It’s been a long time.

16. I’ve been editing and editing and editing these wedding pictures and am starting to make some major headway. Most of the time I’m on the computer I’m editing and trying not to distract myself with other things. This is party why you haven’t heard from me recently.

17. I miss you much. I promise to write more. The pictures are due by Valentine’s day and I still have a couple hundred to go (yikes!) but I promise I’ll keep you updated.
