Why We Love Chicago #1

I dub this post #1 because I know for sure there will be many more to follow.

Naph and I have had a chance to explore a bit around the neighborhood we’d been living in for the past couple months. First let me explain that part a little bit. Naph and I have been living with this great community called Jesus People USA (JPUSA) which I will explain in another blog because that is what they deserve and it takes quite a bit to explain this awesome community of believers who live together.

So we’ve been living at JPUSA for the past couple months until we got our feet on the ground, got jobs, got established and all that jazz. And this location is right next to the beautiful lake Michigan.

So my sweet man went on a walk with me the other day and I snapped a few shots of this gorgeous path we found that was between a golf course and the Lake. It was beautiful.

This was the stone wall that separated the golf course from the lake.

I want it as my stone wall at my house…when I have a house…which won’t be for many many years unless Dave Ramsey knows how to make my major debt magically transform into major assets…

This was the golf house…yeah like an old church turned golf house turned the place I want to live for the rest of my life and have the clock tower chime off with “Rain Drops Keep Falling on My Head.” But just not when I’m trying to sleep..that would be inconvenient

Would it be lying if I said I didn’t want to have a yacht someday? You are all invited and we will have orange smoothies and sing songs

And the best thing I saw while on the walk was this hot hunk of man. I mean really…I always said I wasn’t a fan of the hair, the long wavy luxurious hair, but now…thanks to Suzy Spears, the best hair dresser in the nation, he looks delicious.

And with that I leave you, I’m ok if  you lust over his hair…I won’t hold it against you.

Goodnightgoodbye
